August 2021: Canberra Raiders legend Brett White joins Heroes With Ability as our new ambassador. Brett played for the Canberra Raiders and the Melbourne Storm in the NRL.
Brett played his junior rugby league with Cooma Colts. He was a promising junior and was graded by St. George Illawarra Dragons from school, but moved to the Melbourne Storm in 2005. He made his first-grade début in Round one of that year, scoring a try against the Newcastle Knights at Olympic Park. At the end of the season he was named the Storm’s Rookie of the Year.
In 2007 Brett was a member of the Storm’s grand final-winning team, winning 34-8 over the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. He also played in the winning 2009 Grand Final team against Parramatta.
Brett White also represented both Ireland and Australia in international Rugby League, and played State of Origin for New South Wales.
Today, Brett works as the NRL Assistant Coach at Canberra Raiders. Heroes With Ability is proud to have Brett on board.
