April 8th 2022 was a red-letter day for Heroes With Ability. For the first time in our history we conducted a sports activity clinic in sunny Queensland!
At Burpengary Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre, over 150 participants from Afford Centres in South-East Queensland came to our very first clinic. These participants came from Miami, Southport, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Mt Gravatt, Wellington Point, Caboolture and Strathpine.
We loved being amongst groups of enthusiastic participants and carers, as well as catching up with mates. We thank Afford, Daniel McShane, Belgravia Leisure and the Brisbane Broncos for helping us make this possible and look forward to our next trip up north.
